While I wasn't very well, this was still and amazing opportunity to see one of my favourite bands in a tiny venue.

I started by driving to Homerton to pick-up Stephen and then drove to Whitstable. Considering it was the evening I expected that there would be a great deal of traffic but no and just over an hour we arrived at Vicky's.

We walked round the corner to the Coach & Horses, an amazing local with a fantastic vibe, unfortunately the selecetion of Alcohol-free beers was not great I chose to go with the Noughty Bear being a Shepherd Neame beer it was a bit tasteless and empty.

We got to the venue about 21:00 and the support act Nanoplex was still DJing, straight down the front and started raving. The crowd were super friendly and many people loved my Red glasses chain (you can't buy them in red only, but my friend Morena sorted made them for me) and Lajee Celtic football shirt.

System 7 came on at 21:30 and played a great set as usual, I was really unwell and had to run to the bathroom multiple times. I did however still get to see them and dance to Alpha Wave.

My friend's Tom & Linda had also just gone to Whitstable to to pick-up the keys to their new home and came by the venue to say hello.

The journey home was uneventful, we stopped a a garage to ask to use a toilet and see if they had any imodium. They said no, I asked if there was a service station on the M2 on the way back and he replied "I don't know". I got back into the car and a lorry driver who was delivering petrol to the petrol station gave me very clear instructions on where the service station is and how to get there. 20 minutes later we at Medway service station they had everything that we need.
