Last night I got a message from a friend asking if I wanted to go see Gary Numan and Marc Almond at Crystal Palace for free. It was Marc Almond that sold it for me.

It was odd going back to Crystal Palace after only 6 days.

Ladytron

I was kinda excited to see Ladytron it had been almost 20 years since I’d last seen them.

It may have been too early or they weren’t quite loud enough, but they didn’t really do it for me.

Marc Almond

Marc Almond however was absolutely on form and had such on awesome connection with the crowd. Everyone was singing along and dancing. Such a fabulous performance would definitely see again.

Gary Numan

Gary Numan’s staging was spectacular. His band were superb and their costumes and makeup were astounding.

Gary really put everything into his performance and was constantly moving around and engaging with the audience.

Alas we had to leave early so that my friend (who has seen Gary well over 100 times) could make her train back home, Crystal Palace is a long way from central London.
