We discovered Yard by not seeing them at Bearded Theory, when a load of our friends came back raving about them. In September 2025 we managed to get added to their guest list when they were performing at a conference for festival organisers. They performed at a venue called Omeara, which was awesome and I would love to book it sometime.
The support act were Bucket, we missed the first 5 minutes. They weren’t exactly my cup of tea but they were exciting and well received. They were also very nice people and they were obviously friends of Yard as they helped them set up their equipment.
Yard are an electro noise trio from Dublin. They had just returned from a successful visit to SXSW festival in Austin Texas.
There were quite a few super fans right down the front who knew all the words to all their songs.
Yard really do deserve to be much bigger than they currently are and I’m sure that they will be in a few years.
